Process of Orientation

 Orientation Follow-up
Orientation does not end on the first day. Follow-up is necessary and may include the following:
Offer feedback to employee as required.
Ensure that job expectations are being met. If not, this is the time to discuss/re-explain expectations.
Arrange a meeting within the first couple of weeks to answer questions and/or to discuss job-related issues or concerns.
·         Volunteer Orientation and Training Process
There are several important steps to beginning your volunteer experience at the Feminist Center, as follows:
Fill out the Volunteer Application. You can either use our new online volunteer application or download the printable form to fax in (404-417-0878) or bring it with you to your Volunteer Orientation.
Schedule a Volunteer Orientation. Your hour-long orientation will cover ways your interests, skills, and availability will match our organizational needs. You will receive a tour of our facility, a packet of information and guidelines, and have a chance to ask questions.
Attend our Focus: Reproductive Justice Advocacy Workshop as soon as possible (held monthly - check the Schedule of Activities for the next date). You can begin volunteer activities but you will need to attend our Focus workshop as soon as possible after your orientation.
