The process of
initiating action is called 'motivation'. Sending behavior to a specific goal
is the essence of motivation. Motivation is not always noticeable. It is
derived and used to explain the behavior. When we ask ourselves: "What
motivates a person to do a specific task?" Often we mean why he works like
him. In other words, motivation, such as popular use, refers to the cause or
why behavior. Interestingly, we do not know all our motives. The behavior can
also be determined by the unconscious motives. If our understanding of motives
is correct, we have a powerful tool to explain the behavior. We explained our
daily behavior in terms of different motives. Motives also help us to develop
behavioral habits. We can say what someone will do in the future. Motives cannot
tell exactly what will happen, but give us an idea about the range of
activities a person does. So a person with a need to reach academics will work
very well at school, a person with extreme need for sports can do a lot of work
in that area; both in business and in many other situations.
Motivation
is one of the most used psychological words. It refers to the factors that move
or activate the organism. We show motivation when we see people working on
certain goals. For example, we can observe that the student is working hard in
almost every activity that occurs to him; from here we assume that man has the
motive to achieve. All human behavior seems to pop up in response to some form
of physiological or exotic (environmental) stimulation. However, the behavior
is not arbitrary. Often there are different goals or goals. It is often claimed
that behavior occurs as a result of the generation of some motives. So
motivation can be defined as the process of activating, maintaining and
managing behavior in a particular goal. The process is usually completed when
the desired goal is reached by the person.
Motivation
has many different meanings, but it is important to focus on the workplace.
Understanding what exactly motivation can help determines which actions need to
be taken to encourage their employees. In other words, according to Nancy
Shanks, motivation ensures that someone acts and that other people can not make
a motivated person. This is the determination of people to decide whether they
are motivated or not. Motivated and unmotivated are not contradictory, but
rather there are factors that can make a person inevitable, such as living
conditions and attitudes towards a particular job.
